《新樱花大战》于2020年4月开播，速水奖担任旁白，由同名PS4游戏内负责CG的SANZIGEN公司制作。 这是自樱花大战TV版问世以来20年间该系列的首部电视动画。　　舞台是在游戏内容一年后。太正三十年，帝国华击团新作首次公演，围绕着天宫樱故事拉开序幕。本作除上海、伦敦、柏林华击团外，游戏中提到的莫斯科华击团也将登场。
